Basketball Recap: Vancleave Comes Up Short

Vancleave won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They came up short against the Laurel Golden Tornadoes, falling 62-36. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Golden Tornadoes: they've now lost five in a row.

Vancleave's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Laurel, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Vancleave will take on Laurel at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Laurel, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Stone at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
