Football Recap: Stigler Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Stigler's offense. They were dealt a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Lincoln Christian Bulldogs on Thursday. The Panthers have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Graham Easttom threw for 35 yards on seven of 13 attempts. On the ground, Morgan Peery rushed for 36 yards.

Stigler's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lincoln Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Stigler and Lincoln Christian will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Panthers will square off against rival Idabel at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. Meanwhile, Lincoln Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Holland Hall at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
