Baseball Recap: Trenton Extends Home Winning Streak to 12

Trenton entered their tilt with South Sumter on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Raiders. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 10-1 victory the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2018.

Trenton's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ty Moses, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Moses has posted since back in February.

Trenton hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Sumter struck out seven times.

Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games.
