Volleyball Recap: Wayne Wins Going Away Against Northmont

Wayne played in-conference for the first time on Thursday and got just the result they were looking for. They blew past the Northmont Thunderbolts 3-0. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Thunderbolts recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Wayne walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 28-26, 25-23.

Nas'Zier Foster paced Wayne's offense, picking up 18 kills. Foster got some help from Ben Sweitzer and his 16 assists. Huy Cao controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Wayne pushed their record up to 3-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Northmont, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne will welcome Kings at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Northmont, they will be playing at home against Beavercreek at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
