Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Elm Creek). They enjoyed a cozy 75-59 victory over the Axtell Wildcats on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Buffaloes who have now won three contests in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Elm Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jeremiah Shoemaker, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 21 rebounds. Shoemaker has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times he's played. Quin Oberg was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds.
