Flowers took care of business in their home opener on Thursday (and then some). They never let the High Point Eagles onto the board and left with a 14-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for Flowers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Flowers got a massive performance out of Marc Harrison Jr., who went 1-for-3 with a home run, three runs, and two RBI. Jonathan Davis was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Flowers will square off against Bowie at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for High Point, they will head out on the road to challenge Suitland at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
