Basketball Recap: Comeaux Takes a Loss

Comeaux was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 69-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Louis Catholic Saints. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saints apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2015.

Comeaux now has a losing record at 3-4. As for St. Louis Catholic, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Comeaux will take on Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Comeaux is facing Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy at the right time seeing as Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for St. Louis Catholic, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Westlake at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
