Basketball Recap: New Mexico School for the Deaf Piles Up the Points Against Colorado School for the Deaf Blind

New Mexico School for the Deaf won the last time they faced Colorado School for the Deaf Blind and things went their way on Friday too. The New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners breezed by the Colorado School for the Deaf Blind Bulldogs to the tune of 52-8. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Roadrunners.

Leading New Mexico School for the Deaf to victory were Jesse Crespin and Emmett Lee. Crespin went 7 of 13 on his way to 15 points and three blocks, while Lee dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Those 15 points gave Crespin a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Lopez - Gonzalez, who posted seven points.

New Mexico School for the Deaf smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in three consecutive contests.

The victory got New Mexico School for the Deaf back to even at 2-2.

New Mexico School for the Deaf wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 46-27 win against Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind on the 14th. As for Colorado School for the Deaf Blind, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 49-12 loss against Phoenix Day School for the Deaf on the 14th.
