Softball Recap: Greenville H Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Greenville H's offense. They came up short against the Providence Athletic Club Panthers on Friday, falling 14-0. Having soared to a lofty 28 runs in the game before, the Hurricanes' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Greenville H has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. The win was the fourth in a row for Providence Athletic Club, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Coming up, Greenville H will challenge St. Joseph's Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on March 24th. As for Providence Athletic Club, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Providence Athletic Club Panthers challenge Swansea Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. They are strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.
