The Buford Yellow Jackets will venture away from home to take on the Westwood Redhawks at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Buford is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Buford will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Saturday, then bounced right back against York on Monday. Everything went Buford's way against York as Buford made off with a 4-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Yellow Jackets in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won three in a row.

Buford hit York with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Payton Bowers (2), Kaylynn Faile, and Taylor Greene.

Meanwhile, Westwood fell victim to West Florence and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 10-0.

Westwood now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Buford, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
