Basketball Recap: Kellogg Comes Up Short

If Kellogg was riding high fresh off their 55-34 takedown of Wallace last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Kellogg Wildcats fell 56-48 to the St. Maries Lumberjacks on Friday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Lumberjacks recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Kellogg's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for St. Maries, they now also have a winning record of 6-5.

Kellogg won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Genesis Prep Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. St. Maries has already played their next contest (against Priest River), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
