Football Recap: Camarillo Keeps St. Bonaventure's Under Pressure

Camarillo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 47-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Bonaventure Seraphs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Scorpions of the 41-28 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Camarillo lost, don't look at Shane Feller. Despite the final result, he rushed for 158 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 54 receiving yards. Jack Owens also helped out with an impressive 85 receiving yards.

Even if they lost, Camarillo's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Tristan Tracy refused to say out of the backfield, picking up a sack all by himself.

Camarillo's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for St. Bonaventure, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

As of now, neither Camarillo nor the Seraphs have any future games scheduled.
