Baseball Recap: Cherokee Comes Up Short

The Cherokee Chiefs came up short against the North Cobb Christian Eagles on Saturday and fell 6-3.

Cherokee's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for North Cobb Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Cherokee will venture away from home to face off against Morristown-Hamblen East at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Cobb Christian, they will head out to challenge Coahulla Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
