Football Game Preview: Brookhaven Academy Cougars vs. Parklane Academy Pioneers

Brookhaven Academy is 0-6 against Parklane Academy since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Cougars will head out to challenge the Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Brookhaven Academy sitting on four straight victories and Parklane Academy on 14 (dating back to last season).

Brookhaven Academy will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Adams County Christian, who they had gone 0-7 against in their seven prior meetings. The Cougars snuck past the Rebels with a 19-15 win on Friday.

Meanwhile, while Parklane Academy put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Riverfield Academy. The Pioneers took their contest with ease, bagging a 35-0 victory over the Raiders. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won five games by 23 points or more so far this season.

Brookhaven Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Parklane Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Brookhaven Academy took a serious blow against Parklane Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 49-14. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Cougars were down 35-7.
