Silver Creek has gone a perfect 10-0 against Madison recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Silver Creek Dragons will take on the Madison Cubs at 7:30 p.m. Silver Creek has given up an average of 53.4 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Silver Creek is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 67-64 victory over Corydon Central. Given the Dragons' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Panthers are ranked 92nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Silver Creek's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brandon Hunter, who went 8-for-13 on his way to 21 points along with eight assists and seven boards. That's the most points Hunter has posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Dane Sprigler, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 16 points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Madison didn't have too much trouble with Switzerland County on Friday as they won 68-54. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cubs.

Silver Creek's victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Madison, their win bumped their record up to 9-14.

Silver Creek strolled past Madison in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 86-69. Will Silver Creek repeat their success, or does Madison have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
