Yorkville Christian won the last time they faced Illinois Math & Science Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Yorkville Christian Mustangs took their matchup with ease, bagging a 58-29 victory over the Illinois Math & Science Academy Titans. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 27 points or more this season.

Yorkville Christian was led to victory by Ava DiQui and Payton Wallin. DiQui went 7 for 13 on her way to 18 points along with six steals and five boards, while Wallin went 7 of 10 en route to 15 points and five steals. Those six steals gave DiQui a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Danielle Bulson, who posted eight points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists.

The win made it two in a row for Yorkville Christian and bumps their season record up to 16-6. As for Illinois Math & Science Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Yorkville Christian will welcome Dixon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Dixon will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Yorkville Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Illinois Math & Science Academy, they will be playing at home against Somonauk/Leland at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
