Basketball Game Preview: Lutheran West Longhorns vs. Trinity Trojans

Lutheran West is 0-10 against Trinity since January of 2020 but things could change on Wednesday. The Lutheran West Longhorns will challenge the Trinity Trojans at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lutheran West will bounce into Wednesday's match after beating Cuyahoga Heights, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Lutheran West snuck past Cuyahoga Heights with a 30-26 win on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Trinity blew past Beachwood, posting a 55-21 victory. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season.

Lutheran West is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. As for Trinity, their record is now 8-3.

Lutheran West suffered a grim 59-38 defeat to Trinity when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Lutheran West avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
