The West Catholic Athletic League continues to tower as the elite league in California, and how fitting that the WCAL Tournament starts Tuesday for more chaos? Serra remains top ranked here with two wins over No. 2 Valley Christian to earn the top seed in the WCAL Tournament as the regular-season champion.

Bellarmine beat JSerra on Saturday to win the Boras Baseball Classic 5-4, a defacto state championship as Bellarmine earlier this spring won the NorCal Boras event, giving coach Mike Rodriguez his 200th coaching victory.
