The Bruins sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Mustangs on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for Brentwood, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Brentwood's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Lipscomb Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Brentwood will challenge Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Franklin will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Brentwood surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lipscomb Academy, they will face off against Harpeth Hall at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Lipscomb Academy's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
