Volleyball Recap: Hialeah Educational Academy Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the Hialeah Educational Academy Biggie came up short against the Divine Savior Academy Sharks and fell 3-1.

While Hialeah Educational Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 21-25, 25-23.

Ryan Lopez paced Hialeah Educational Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Lopez got some help from Kenny Beltran and his 12 assists. Fabian Menendez controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Hialeah Educational Academy now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Divine Savior Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Hialeah Educational Academy is taking a road trip to challenge Somerset Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hialeah Educational Academy is facing Somerset Academy at the right time seeing as Somerset Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Divine Savior Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Coral Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
