Football Recap: St. Bede Bruins vs. Peoria Notre Dame Irish
St. Bede extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 2-6. They had to suffer through a 47-13 loss at the hands of the Peoria Notre Dame Irish. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 391st, while the Irish are ranked 155th).
Gino Ferrari threw for 102 yards on eight of 23 attempts. Drew Carboni was his top target, picking up 36 receiving yards. On the ground, Carson Riva rushed for 27 yards and one score.
