Football Recap: Putnam Vo-Tech Comes Up Short

If Putnam Vo-Tech was riding high fresh off their 52-6 takedown of Commerce last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Beavers had to suffer through a 58-0 loss at the hands of the Foxborough Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Beavers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 272nd, while the Warriors are ranked 15th).

Putnam Vo-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Foxborough, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Putnam Vo-Tech will head out to face off against Longmeadow at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Foxborough, they will host King Philip Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
