Basketball Recap: Latexo Comes Up Short

Latexo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a hard 59-44 fall against the John F. Kennedy Rockets.

John F. Kennedy found their leader in sophomore Ayden Saunders, who went 7 of 15 en route to 21 points. The dominant performance gave Saunders a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Latrell Fields, who made all 5 shots he took to post 10 points and eight rebounds.

Latexo's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for John F. Kennedy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-9 record this season.

Latexo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-48 victory against Warren on the 13th. As for John F. Kennedy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 36-30 win against Poth on the 13th.
