Basketball Recap: Orestimba Warriors vs. Delhi Hawks
The Orestimba Warriors entered their tilt with the Delhi Hawks with 16 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 17. Orestimba took their game at home on Thursday with ease, bagging a 80-33 victory over the Hawks. Orestimba has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 21 points or more this season.
Drew Felber was a one-man wrecking crew for Orestimba as he scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. It was the first time this season that Felber pulled down eight or more rebounds. Blake Melo was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with four steals.
Orestimba's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.4 points per game. As for Delhi, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-14.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orestimba won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
