Lumen Christi's tournament run continued when they took on Cordova on Friday. Lumen Christi took a hard 43-26 fall against Cordova. The contest marked the Archangels' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ninilchik). They put the hurt on Homer with a sharp 81-56 victory on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wolverines as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Lumen Christi better keep an eye on Kade McCorison. He was instrumental in Ninilchik's win, dropping a double-double on 44 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which McCorison has scored at least a third of Ninilchik's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andon McCorison, who posted 18 points and five boards.

Ninilchik smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Lumen Christi's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Ninilchik, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Lumen Christi came up short against Ninilchik in their previous matchup on January 3rd, falling 69-56. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of McCorison, who went 10 of 18 en route to 29 points.
