Softball Recap: Whitewater Comes Up Short

Whitewater's last matchup with Jefferson could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Tuesday. The Whippets lost 12-3 to the Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Whippets in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost eight in a row.

Whitewater saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Falyn Krahn, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Whitewater's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Jefferson, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

Coming up, Jefferson will take on Monroe at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Whitewater will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' contest: after the Eagles face off against the Cheesemakers, they'll take on Whitewater again at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
