Football Recap: Northwest Cabarrus Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Despite a strong season so far, Northwest Cabarrus has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were dealt a 56-6 loss at the hands of the Jay M. Robinson Bulldogs on Friday. The game marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Hudson Irwin threw for 91 yards on ten of 20 attempts. Titus Troy was his top target, picking up 49 receiving yards. On the ground, Malachi Norris rushed for 85 yards and one touchdown.

Jay M. Robinson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lj Watson, who rushed for 175 yards and three TDs on only ten carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Watson a new career-high. Aury Greenfield was another key player, rushing for 80 yards and one score.

Northwest Cabarrus' defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Jay M. Robinson, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

As of now, neither Northwest Cabarrus nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
