Volleyball Recap: Penney Takes a Loss

Penney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They came up short against the East Buchanan Bulldogs, falling 3-0. If the Hornets were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-10, 25-7.

Penney's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for East Buchanan, their victory bumped their record up to 20-10-3.

Coming up, Penney will welcome Brookfield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Buchanan, they will head out on the road to challenge North Platte at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
