Basketball Recap: Holmes Takes a Loss

Holmes lost against Covington Catholic back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Holmes Bulldogs took a blow against the Covington Catholic Colonels, falling 80-35. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Holmes and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for Covington Catholic, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Holmes will head out to square off against Calvary Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Covington Catholic, they will face off against Highlands at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
