Soccer Game Preview: Fort Hill vs. Allegany + How To Watch

Fort Hill hasn't had much luck against Allegany recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Sentinels will take on the Campers at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Fort Hill comes in on seven and Allegany on eight.

Allegany better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Fort Hill's game on Tuesday is any indication, that's when Fort Hill really gets things going. The Sentinels' defense stepped up to hand Calvary Christian Academy a 4-0 shutout. Fort Hill might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Allegany made easy work of Southern on Tuesday and carried off a 5-1 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Allegany's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland soccer rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Southern are ranked 102nd).

Fort Hill's record now sits at 8-2. As for Allegany, their record is now 8-0-1.

Fort Hill suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Allegany when the teams last played back in September. Can the Sentinels avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
