St. Anthony won the last time they faced Farina South Central and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bulldogs blew past the Cougars 8-2. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.

Xander Beals spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brady Hatton, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Lauritzen, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI and one double.

St. Anthony pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Farina South Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

St. Anthony wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-0 loss against Mt. Zion on the 10th. Farina South Central has also already played their next contest (against Carlyle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
