Basketball Recap: Dublin Now 10-1 over Last 11 Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Dublin walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Heard County Braves with a sharp 72-49 win on Wednesday. The Fighting Irish have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Braves, too.

Dublin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aj Johnson, who went 8-for-18 on his way to 20 points and five rebounds. Tristian Bell was another key player, shooting 60% from the field to rack up 16 points.

Despite the loss, Heard County still got an impressive performance from Cameron Ogletree, who went 6-for-8 en route to 15 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Cameron Latimer, who posted eight points and six rebounds.

Dublin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. Heard County now has a losing record of 13-14.

Dublin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 74-53 defeat against Fannin County on the 22nd. Heard County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
