Switzerland County is 7-1 against New Washington since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Pacers will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. Switzerland County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Switzerland County didn't have quite enough to beat Madison and fell 11-10. The Pacers have struggled against the Cubs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Jackson Sparks was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Byrd, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, New Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Southwestern, falling 22-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Mustangs couldn't push the score so high this time.

New Washington's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Switzerland County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Everything went Switzerland County's way against New Washington when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Switzerland County made off with a 21-4 victory. Do the Pacers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
