Basketball Recap: Winfield Pirates vs. Gordo Green Wave
Winfield won the last time they faced Gordo, and Slate Gilbert did his part to make sure it happened again. The Winfield Pirates had just enough and edged the Gordo Green Wave out 50-47 thanks in part to Gilbert, who went 10 of 22 on his way to 27 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Winfield's points.
