Soccer Recap: Erwin Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

While Erwin didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the East Henderson Eagles 4-1 on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Erwin also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.

They hit East Henderson with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alex Binuelo, Juan Argueta, Kevin Membreno, and Dorian Rodriguez.

Erwin pushed their record up to 4-0-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four matches. As for East Henderson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Erwin didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Brevard on the 28th. As for East Henderson, they will square off against Hendersonville at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hendersonville's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
