Indianola had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pella Dutch, sneaking past 5-3. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 7-1 victory back in May.

Indianola pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Pella, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7.

Indianola will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Dutch: the pair will be back at it again later today.
