Basketball Recap: Granville Christian Academy Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Granville Christian Academy entered their match against Madison Christian on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Granville Christian Academy took a 41-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madison Christian Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Granville Christian Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 33-26 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Granville Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Brynn Flowers, who went 5 of 11 on her way to 18 points.

Jadah Harris was the offensive standout of the game as she went 6 for 9 en route to 18 points. Jasmine Harris was another key player, putting up six points and eight rebounds.

Granville Christian Academy's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6. As for Madison Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Granville Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 35-20 defeat against Delaware Christian on the 24th. Madison Christian has also already played their next game, a 44-15 victory against Northside Christian on the 24th.
