Basketball Game Preview: Warren Hills Regional Blue Streaks vs. Somerville Pioneers

Warren Hills Regional is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Delaware Valley just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 54-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Terriers.

Meanwhile, Somerville narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past North Hunterdon 51-48. Given the Pioneers' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Lions are ranked 241st), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Somerville is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which lines up perfectly with their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points per game. As for Warren Hills Regional, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6.
