Saratoga had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Fremont Firebirds. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Saratoga had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-21, 25-15, 25-8.

Saratoga's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Fremont, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Saratoga is set to face off against their familiar foe Wilcox at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Fremont will take on rival MacDonald at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
