Baseball Game Preview: Gig Harbor Tides vs. Silas Rams

For the second straight game, Gig Harbor will face off against Silas. The Tides will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Gig Harbor will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Gig Harbor's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Silas by a score of 4-0. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Jake Cuda tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2024.

On the hitting side, Troy Tackett was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run. Cole Krilich was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.
