Franklin is a perfect 10-0 against Taunton since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Franklin is coming into the contest hot, having won their last nine games.

Franklin proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past King Philip Regional 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since September 5th.

Franklin wouldn't go down easily and took King Philip Regional into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-18, 25-20, 19-25, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Taunton came up short against Attleboro on Thursday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Bombardiers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Taunton took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 26-24.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Taunton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Franklin was able to grind out a solid victory over Taunton in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
