Volleyball Recap: Randolph Cardinals vs. Plainview Pirates
Randolph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Plainview Pirates. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Saturday.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-13.
Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Plainview, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-14 record.
Randolph wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Boyd County on the 17th. Plainview has also already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against West Holt on the 21st.
