Baseball Recap: Carle Place Comes Up Short

Carle Place lost against Oyster Bay on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Frogs fell 5-1 to the Baymen. The Frogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carle Place saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thomas Schoch, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Carle Place's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Oyster Bay, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Carle Place will venture away from home to challenge East Rockaway at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Oyster Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
