Baseball Recap: Campbell County Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Campbell County never let their opponents score on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Pendleton County Wildcats as they made off with a 7-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Camels in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

Campbell County pushed their record up to 18-9-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Pendleton County, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-10-1 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Campbell County will take on Scott at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Camels 3.5, the Eagles 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Pendleton County, they will square off against Grant County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
