Basketball Recap: Victory College Prep Comes Up Short

Victory College Prep lost against Indianapolis Metropolitan back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Victory College Prep Bulldogs had to suffer through a 77-44 loss at the hands of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Pumas.

Indianapolis Metropolitan's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Leo Petty, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 15 points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Bruce Odom, who went 7 for 8 on his way to 14 points.

Victory College Prep's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-3. As for Indianapolis Metropolitan, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Victory College Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 74-29 loss against Riverside on the 13th. As for Indianapolis Metropolitan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 72-55 win against Perry Meridian on the 11th.
