Madison La Follette gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They pulled ahead with a 22-21 photo finish over the Beloit Memorial Purple Knights. For the Lancers, this counts as revenge for the 24-21 victory the Purple Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2021.

Coming up, Madison La Follette is headed away from home for the first time to take on Monona Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Beloit Memorial, they will welcome Madison East at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
