Basketball Recap: Farragut Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Oak Ridge

On Monday, Farragut faced Oak Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Farragut Admirals fell 70-62 to the Oak Ridge Wildcats. The Admirals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Farragut's loss dropped their record down to 22-10. As for Oak Ridge, the victory (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 28-3.

Farragut does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oak Ridge, they will take on Bearden on Wednesday. Bearden will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Oak Ridge surely won't give up without a fight.
