It's playoff time, and San Diego had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Taft Greyhounds on Thursday as they made off with a 13-3 victory. The Vaqueros might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for San Diego and bumps their season record up to 17-10. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Taft, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-12.

San Diego will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Greyhounds: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
