Softball Recap: Pontotoc Warriors vs. Clarksdale Wildcats

Pontotoc put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Clarksdale Wildcats a 12-0 shutout. With that victory, Pontotoc brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Averi Bridgman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Bridgman was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three RBI.
