Volleyball Recap: Plano East Takes a Loss

Plano East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wylie East Raiders. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

While Plano East had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 23-25, 25-19.

Plano East's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Wylie East, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Plano East will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rockwall at 7:30 p.m. on March 25th. As for Wylie East, they will take on Lovejoy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
